Our promising young athlete, Emmanuelle Salas, 12 and a half years old, beat in the final Margo Yerolymos with the score 6/3 6/2 on the centre courts of the Bourgogne league. Emmanuelle won the Petits Ducs tournament in the category 14 and under.

The services proposed during Operation Nez Rouge are entirely free. When a client arrives at their destination and is satisfied with the service, they usually leave a tip. All the tips are then collected and distributed to non-profit organisations who focus on the social, cultural and related domains for youth. The two associations who have been chosen by the Nez Rouge Genève committee HOPICLOWNS (www.hopiclowns.ch) and Sport for Life.

A little more than a year since her retirement, Amélie Mauresmo is pursuing her change of profession. A three time winner of the SUEZ GDF Open, she will this year be the co-director of the tournament, which will be held in Paris, February 5-13. Amélie says "It's true that I have the impression to have gone over to the other side. I am truly at home at this tournament so it's become completely natural for me. The roles are coming into place little by little, I will be going to Australia to search for opportunities to enforce the player board."
