Charlène Seateun (WTA 971) beat in the 2nd round of the ITF professional tournament in Vale Do Lobo ($ 10'000 - Portugal) the number 1 seed, the Polish Justyna Jegiolka (WTA 353), by the score of 6-4 5-7 7-5. Charlène will play today in the quarters the Italian Alice Savoretti.

Emmanuelle Salas was unfortunately not able to defend fully her chances in quarterfinals in Tarbes. She woke up in the morning with a stiff neck. Emmanuelle nevertheless entered on the court but had finally to abandon while she was led 5-0 in the 1st set. Despite the disappointment, the results of the week remain positive !

Emmanuelle Salas (13 years old) qualified this morning for the round of 16 of the Petits As tournament (children’s unofficial World Championships for under 14) by beating 6-2 6-1 the Danish Simone Alipieva. A great victory for Emmanuelle who had lost to her last week in Bolton. In the 1st round, Emmanuelle beat yesterday the Spaniard Andrea Garcia Fernandez by the score of 7-6 (5) 6-3. In the next round, Emmanuelle will face the Hungarian Fanny Stollar.
